Accessibility
We want DREADLIST to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement explains where we stand and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
What we aim for
DREADLIST is built to target the international WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and, in Israel, Israeli Standard (SI) 5568. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time box to tick, and we improve it as we find gaps.
What is in place
Semantic HTML landmarks and a skip-to-content link; full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline; labels and states on interactive controls for screen readers; the page language and reading direction are set per language, with right-to-left support for Hebrew and Arabic; the interface respects your "reduce motion" setting; and the dark palette is chosen for readable contrast. Text reflows and can be enlarged with your browser zoom.
Honest limitations
Some things are not perfect yet. The generative avatars are decorative and hidden from screen readers; the live countdowns update visually as posts fade; and the intentionally dark, low-light atmosphere is part of the experience. If any of this creates a barrier for you, tell us and we will help.
